The chat in each editor

The chat is the same everywhere, but the agent switches its role with the page: it knows the tools of the open editor and gets that item's current state. When it opens another item, the chat follows.

Project page and My projects

Empty hint: "Describe what you want to build or pick a recent chat."

The agent manages the project: it creates, opens, renames and deletes items, and starts the right editor for a request. From My projects, a first message such as "a robot arm with three servos" creates the project for you.

Workspace (3D)

Empty hint: "Describe a part or assembly, the AI will generate 3D CAD models", with Tips on How to Prompt below it.

  • Writes each part as a script and builds it; a thumbnail of every new part appears under its action card.
  • Places parts and joints in the assembly; View on Canvas appears after it changes the assembly.
  • Takes screenshots of the view to check its work; they show in the chat.
  • Imports and splits STEP files, rebuilds imported parts as editable scripts, and prepares parts for 3D printing and CNC.
  • Every change it makes is a checkpoint in History.

Schematic

Empty hint: "Design a circuit, add components, or ask a question".

  • Places library parts and wires them; a preview of each new part shows under its action card, and View on Canvas after it changes the circuit.
  • Creates custom parts when the library has none.
  • Runs the simulation, adds measurements (each shows as a card in the chat) and reads their values, the timeline and bus traffic.
  • Runs static analysis and explains the findings.
  • Captures an image of the circuit to check the layout.

Firmware

Empty hint: "Write or fix this firmware, build it, or attach it to a part".

  • Writes and edits the files, picks the board, builds, and fixes build errors.
  • Attaches the code to a board in a schematic of the same project, so the simulation runs it.

Scene

Empty hint: "Describe the scene or control loop you want to build".

  • Adds robots, objects and ground, sets gravity and materials.
  • Writes control scripts and controls for the control pad.
  • Runs the simulation in your window, reads the script logs and the robot's state, and records clips and trajectories to check the motion.
  • Builds motions from a prompt or a video and starts training.

Coding agents

With the desktop app, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another coding agent uses the same tools from your terminal; the window shows the result as it happens.
