Desktop app and coding agents

The chat panel links "Use Claude Code, Codex or Cursor with the same tools". The FloMotion desktop app is the same app in a window, plus a flomotion command line. A coding agent on your computer runs flomotion commands, and the window does the work with the account signed in there, so you watch the result as it happens.

The desktop window while an external agent runs a circuit simulation it just built. The Nano, servo and supply were created through the command line, not the chat panel.

  1. Install the desktop app from the releases page and sign in once.
  2. Tell your agent to run flomotion skill, which prints how to use the commands.
  3. The agent uses flomotion agent to see the current state and tools, and flomotion act <tool> '<json>' to run one.

Files from your computer, such as a robot archive, come in through the command line too (flomotion import robot.zip). The article has the full walkthrough.
