1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Flomotion ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction (typically 18 or 20), you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts. If we learn that a person under 13 has created an account, we will delete the account and any associated data.

3. Description of Service

Flomotion is an AI-assisted design studio for electronics and mechanical (CAD) work. The Service includes AI-powered features that generate schematics, mechanical parts, component definitions, and other design artifacts. The Service is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

4. AI-Generated Content

Flomotion integrates third-party large language models from providers including Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google. The active model is displayed in the chat interface so you know which provider generated each response. Flomotion does not develop these models and has limited ability to predict or constrain their outputs.

You acknowledge that:

  • AI outputs may be wrong. The AI assistant may produce inaccurate, incomplete, incorrect, misleading, or unsafe outputs, including designs that would not work, would be dangerous if built, or that violate applicable standards or regulations.
  • AI may propose harmful actions. The AI assistant may suggest design choices, components, or modifications that, if implemented without review, could cause injury, equipment damage, fire, electric shock, data loss, or other harm. You must not act on AI suggestions without independent technical review.
  • You are the engineer of record. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and deciding whether to implement any AI-generated content. Any physical build, manufacturing run, deployment, or production use based on Flomotion outputs is undertaken at your sole risk.
  • No guarantee of completion. Flomotion makes no guarantee that the AI assistant will complete any particular task, complete it within a specific number of credits, or produce a result that matches your intent. AI tasks may require multiple iterations and may fail outright; credits consumed during such iterations are not refundable.
  • No fitness for purpose. Flomotion makes no guarantee that AI outputs are accurate, safe, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose, including but not limited to safety-critical, medical, aerospace, automotive, or life-supporting applications.
  • No liability for AI output. To the extent permitted by law, Flomotion shall not be liable for any damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential.

5. Subscriptions, Credits, and Billing

  • Subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Credits granted with a subscription are consumed by AI agent actions. Per-action cost varies by model and domain and is displayed in the chat interface. Unused credits expire as described on the pricing page and the credit usage panel.
  • No refunds are issued for unused credits, partial billing periods, or for AI iterations that did not produce the intended result. Required statutory refund rights (where applicable in your jurisdiction) are not affected.
  • Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card details. See the Privacy Policy for details.
  • Price changes may occur and will be announced before they take effect. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Design, develop, or facilitate the creation of devices intended to cause harm to humans, animals, or the environment.
  • Create weapons, surveillance devices, or any technology intended for malicious purposes.
  • Input, upload, or process any patented, proprietary, or confidential third-party intellectual property without authorisation.
  • Input personally identifiable information (PII) of individuals without their explicit consent.
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the Service infrastructure, APIs, or backend systems.
  • Attempt to circumvent, manipulate, or exploit the credit system or any other access control mechanism, including obtaining credits by unauthorised means.
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks, penetration testing, or any form of security attack against the Service without prior written authorisation from Flomotion.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of designs and content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant Flomotion a limited licence to process your content for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Flomotion does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, free of defects, or suitable for your specific use case. Flomotion does not guarantee any particular outcome from use of the Service, including but not limited to the completion, accuracy, or quality of AI-generated content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flomotion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Flomotion's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Flomotion in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
